UNDER ARMOUR

Under Armour was founded in 1996 by American football coach Kevin Plank. The company is headquartered in Baltimore. It has been present in Europe since 2004.

The company's first product was the HeatGear compression T-shirt, which is still a key product today. The focus is on the athletes and the innovative technologies developed to meet their needs.

The main product categories are fitness and training, running, basketball, golf, and nowadays sportstyle for streetwear.

The best-known international Under Armour athletes - some of them retired but still associated with the brand - are Michael Phelps, Stephen Curry, Tom Brady, Lindsey Vonn, Anthony Joshua, Teddy Riner and, although not specifically a top athlete, probably the best-known international face of Under Armour is now Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

In Hungary, Hedvig Karakas, Réka Rubint, Áron Szilágyi, Dominik Illovszky, András Benk, the Budapest Wolves team, among others, are all Under Armour sponsored athletes.
